The number to contact Shropdoc on is 08444068888
NHS Direct
MINOR ILLNESS - you now have the option of ringing NHS Direct on 0845 46 47 (local call rates) for advice about many issues, instead of contacting the surgery. NHS Direct can also be accessed on the internet by visiting www.nhs direct.nhs.uk or via digital television.
Comments / Complaints
We aim to provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to all our patients. In practice, this is a very challenging task!
Mrs. Karen Berridge, Assistant Practice Manager, is pleased to receive your comments or suggestions. We also have a Suggestions Box in the Waiting Room and you are also able to E-Mail the surgery.
If you are dissatisfied with our service, Mrs. Berridge or Mrs Mary Herbert, our Practice Manager will be pleased to see you at a convenient time in order to discuss your problem. If your grievance is regarding a medical matter, please ask to see our Clinical Complaints Partner, who will be happy to discuss the matter with you; this can be done via Mrs Herbert.
Further details of our in-house complaints procedure are available on request.
Violence and Aggression
We do not tolerate any forms of violence or aggression towards any member of the practice team or other patients. If a member of the team feels that your actions have been unacceptable they will inform you of this and terminate the conversation or consultation. If the behaviour persists you may then be removed from the practice list and asked to find another doctor. This action may affect your family members as a result.
Directions
The surgery is situated on several bus routes into the town centre and to Harlescott and Sundorne estates. We provide car parking space for the use of our patients and visitors to the surgery. Please drive slowly and carefully on the surgery property as children and elderly patients may be walking in the area. There is a wheelchair in the front lobby of the surgery for the use of anyone who has difficulty walking. Please ask at reception or inform us by telephone if you need assistance when at the surgery. Unfortunately we can not loan this wheelchair for patients home use.
