Extended Access 

We would like all patients in our community to be able to see a local GP or Nurse when they need to. We have set up a network of GP Practices across the region offering extended opening hours for pre-bookable and same day routine extended access appointments.  The GP extended opening hours service operates between 6.30pm-8.00pm on weekdays and 9.00am- 1.00pm on weekends and allows patients to be seen within a network of GP Practices at a convenient time and location, depending on availability.Call now to book a routine appointment 0333 222 6649.

Practice Management

Practice & Business Manager (Tim Bellett)

The Practice & Business Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice & Business Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Patient Services Manager (Katie Pritchard)

Has specific responsibility for the reception team and handling complaints and developing new services for the practice.  In addition she is the key link for the Patients' Group

Practice Operations Manager (Elaine Barnett)

Has specific responsibility for the Administration team, including secretarial services and is also clinical governance and data lead within the practice overseeing all IT structures and processes which support both clinicians and the wider practice teams.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
