The Practice Manager

Mrs. Mary Herbert has been with the practice since 1984 and has held the post of Practice Manager since 1992. She aims to co-ordinate the smooth running of the team and keep the surgery standing.

Reception and Office Staff

Ms Karen Berridge, who has been with the practice since 1993, leads our team of Receptionists and Secretaries. We aim to provide a pleasant and approachable face for the practice. The receptionists work within guidelines agreed by the Doctors, Nurses and Practice Manager.

The job of the receptionist is a very complex one and can be extremely stressful. Please try and remember they are only human.

We have five Practice Nurses, Sister B Bell, Sister C Emery, Sister J Neale, Sister R Thomas and Sister T Greenway, who are all Registered General Nurses, fully trained to handle all the nursing duties generated by General Practice. The nurses are assisted by a Health Care Assistants, Mrs S Barber and Mrs J Witt who have received in-house training and who can check blood pressures, record ECG's and carry out new patient medical checks.
